Pets and Summons v1.5d (Stand Alone v1.4f)

Now here's a nice addition to a game, the ability to summon pets, totems, spirits, mercenaries, whatever you want to call them, as long as they are actors, they are in. The pets behave like any other actor except that they are tied to the summoner, so if the summoner dies, they die. As well, all pets are temporary and disappear at the end of the battle. And finally you can use this script for even more types of summons! You can replace the actor with the summoned pet, creating a sort of transformation spell, or you can replace the whole party with a big summon, wreaking havoc until the end of it's turn limit or it dies. Oh right, turn limit, pets can have a set number of turns to remain on the field, or can be set to remain on the field until they die. The Stand Alone version of the script is for when you are not using any script that displays actor sprites, while the compatibility version will work with most any script that displays actor sprites.
